Saint Bernadette School

Being a "new student" or a new parent to a school can be stressful. You will have many questions. We arrange for social gathering for parents of new students, both transfers and kindergartner parents, so that you can meet some new friends too! We also arrange for a summer get-together for the new transfer students, so they have an opportunity to meet some children from their class prior to the first day of school. We find this eases the transition into the classroom, and eliminates some of the stress of being a transfer student. We welcome you to St. Bernadette's!

Since St. Bernadette School serves students from 7 different school districts, it's often confusing as to when we will be closed. Please refer to your Parent-Student Handbook or this page for more guidelines ... and be sure to discuss an Emergency Plan with your student so that they understand what to do in the event of an emergency or early closure of school.
Closing Guidelines
School closing information will be posted here as soon as it's known (providing we have power), or you can visit WBEN or WGRZ to see the current closing listing.
St. Bernadette School will be closed if HAMBURG CENTRAL is closed OR if both Orchard Park AND Frontier Central Schools are closed.
NOTE: If only Orchard Park schools are closed, we are still open. Thank you! Stay warm & safe!

You will need your login and password information sent home with your child to access the school's SHAREPOINT site. This site contains all the day-to-day information for each classroom, special, athletics, and events for our school protected by our firewall. If you need the login information re-sent, please contact the school office. AOL users, click here for troubleshooting.
For the security of our most precious gift, our children, we do not post specific class information on the www. Office communication, teacher pages, club information and other important information is all protected through authentication. You must be a parent at the school to view this information.
If you are a parent and are experiencing problems connecting to the Sharepoint site, please use the troubleshooting information below. The password will change again in July. Watch your summer mailing for the new authentication information.
